The Open Hearth Academy presents The Spark: An Introduction to Witchcraft, a 12-week beginner-friendly course designed to help students explore the foundations of Witchcraft in a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment.
This course is perfect for those who are completely new to Witchcraft, curious about spiritual practice, or looking to build a stronger connection with themselves and the world around them. Rather than focusing on rigid rules or one “right” way to practice, this course encourages students to discover what feels meaningful and authentic for them.
Throughout the course, students will learn about energy work, grounding, protection, sacred space, altars, tools, rituals, spellcraft, moon phases, correspondences, divination, herbs, intuition, ethics, and building a personal practice. Students will also explore topics such as ancestors, deities, spirit work, and how to incorporate magick into everyday life.
The Spark is designed to give students a strong foundation while also reminding them that Witchcraft is a personal journey. There is no pressure to be perfect, no expectation to know everything, and no requirement to follow a specific path. Instead, students are encouraged to ask questions, explore new ideas, and begin finding the practices that resonate most deeply with them.
By the end of the course, students will have created the beginnings of their own grimoire, developed simple rituals and practices, and gained the confidence to continue walking their path with curiosity, intention, and trust in themselves.
